Future Stars, the largest sports camp for girls with over 10,000 field hockey alumnae, is directed by Megan Eddinger, coach at Muhlenberg College, & Jenn Rush, former coach at Delaware Valley College and four-year standout at Kutztown University where Rush excelled at field hockey. Jenn's successful experience as an athlete and coach in the sport of field hockey enhances the Future Stars Camp Program with new, innovative drills and team tactics. Rush's career as an All American provides a combination of the techniques used worldwide. Future Stars, the leading girls sports camp featuring over a quarter century of experience, invites you to be a part of this winning combination.

A well-rounded program for all age and skill levels, Future Stars Camp emphasizes learning, practicing, and improving all aspects of a player's game. Campers are trained individually during the day, experiencing special attention that is almost impossible to receive during regular in-season practices. Daily small sided games and situational drills enable skills to be strengthend under the supervision of group counselors. In the evening, campers participate in league play putting the skills they learn into action during full-sided games!

TEAM CAMPHockey camps from futurestars

To play as a winning team, you must learn and practice as a team. Team Camp provides the opportunity to get a head start on the upcoming season for teams at the high school and junior high school levels. Concentration on team offense, defense, and special situations provides the extra edge your team needs for a championship season. Future Stars campers participate in daily league play against strong competition, allowing teams to gain the valuable on-field experience that builds team unity, camaraderie, and confidence.

Megan Eddinger-Our Director

Megan Eddinger has many accomplishments in Field Hockey include the following:

    First back-to-back Centennial Conference playoff appearances
    USFHA Futures progam coach
    2001 graduate of Gettysburg College

Jenn Rush-Our Director

Jenn Rush has many accomplishments in Field Hockey include the following:

The Future Stars staff, made up of the finest NCAA and international coaches and players, puts the FUN in fundamentals. They reinforce the Future Stars philosophy that only perfect practice makes perfect. Our staff teaches the correct skillwork, encouraging campers to practice the game the right way, every time!

HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE

Future Stars conducts camp on the beautiful camp of Gwynedd-Mercy College. The campus offers turf fields, natural grass fields, indoor playing facilities, air-conditioned dormitories, and nutritious meals with salad and ice cream bars.

GOALKEEPERS!

All Future Stars Camp programs have specialized goalkeeping instruction daily. Goalies are instructed individually throughout the day, learning the latest techniques and tactics available. Goalkeepers gain invaluable field experience, as well as training in corners, penalty strokes, and shot practice during small sided games, situational drills, and full-field competition. Get a great boost for the 2012 season!

CAMP NOTES

Future Stars offers programs to suit all needs:

  • Overnight Camp - For girls ages 9-18
    Commuter Camp - Ages 9-18, includes lunch and dinner.

*All Field Hockey programs run from Sunday to Thursday.

*Small groups are welcome at Team Camp and will
be combined with other small groups to form teams.

*Upon receipt of your application, Future Stars will send driving
instructions and a camp checklist with arrival and departure information.

*Overnight campers choose their roommates upon camp arrival.

TUITION INFORMATION

Tuition Includes: Group & Individual Instruction, Camp T-Shirt, Room & Board, Team & Individual Awards, Individual Player Evaluation

ENROLL NOW!

Last year's camps were filled to capacity. Reserve your spot for the 2012 camp, in the program you want NOW. All campers must be paid in full before camp arrival.

REFUNDS

Refunds will be issued minus a $50 administration fee when written notice of cancellation is received at least two weeks prior to the scheduled camp arrival. Any cancellation without two weeks notification or any camper who leaves camp due to injury or illness will be issued a transferable, pro-rated tuition credit for any Future Stars Camp.

Paid in full by 3/1/2012 : $405

Paid in full after 3/1/2012 :$465

Commuter Camp : $315

 

GROUP RATES

Group rates will be applied only to groups of 10 or more campers. Applications not received in the same envelope will not be extended the group rate. Groups receive a $10 discount.

Future Stars Field Hockey Camps are USFHA sanctioned.
